During the 4-days staying we’ve met 2 days problems with access to the apartment. The street door (the second one, glass door) has been blocked. The host didn’t provide us with the keys for this door. The first time fortunately we found the emergency key in the postbox. The second time the emergency key has disappeared. It was night. So we made a lot of calls and sent messages to the host for asking the help. We were setting alone and cold outside and waiting for a help. The host arrived at 3 a.m., told us that he couldn’t find the keys and no chance to get in at the apartment. He offered us to sleep in another apartment. Next day we flight back home, so we had no chances to pack our luggage and be prepared for leaving in a comfortable way. It was awful. When the morning became, the host provide us with the hey. We asked him to give us extra 2-2.30 hours until 1 p.m. to pack the luggage and take a shower before check out. He was angry and said: you should leave apt now because cleaning ladies are here and we expect new arrival at 4 p.m. Also he said: “I did everything for you and you did not appreciate anything”. My question here: did you really do everything? We had to sleep outside without our things, wear, laptops, gadgets, food, wine and other essential thing before flight!!!

Nice location, lovely view from terrace

“Seriously unpleasant - stay somewhere else.”

The beds were dreadful, including one that was supposed to be a single bed and was literally a dumpy old couch which was provided with absolutely no bedding at all even though we had prior confirmation that we would be using that 'bed'. The other 'proper' beds where such poor quality they were basically a folding bed attached to wall with very noisy uncomfortable springs and half the pillows were literally pillow cases with nothing inside them at all. The tap in the kitchen was hanging from the sink, broken wine glass and dirty kitchen utensils, unbelievably poor provision of kitchen appliances provided basically making self catering impossible, jammed cupboard door in one apartment so couldn't open wardrobe, heating in one apartment didn't work until the maintenance man turned it on the next day. When we reported these issues to management and asked for them to attend so we could discuss the major level of dissatisfaction they told us they were far too busy to deal with anything so they sent a maintenance person to look on their behalf. The showers in both apartments that we rented were unable to choose hot water, the maintenance man showed us how we needed to jam the taps with considerable force in order to get any hot water, which then meant even he struggled to then be able to turn the taps off. We just were not able to access hot water in showers at all for the entire stay. We discussed our preference to cancel the booking and tried very hard to find alternative accommodation (8 different hotels) but given it was New Years Eve everything was already full and we were stuck. The management agreed to refund us half the accommodation costs, then when we received the offer from website it had been cut to first night which was considerably less than half because prices were escalated for NYE. Then when we asked for original agreement he cut it by another 90euro, and said if we didn't take that he would pay nothing.

    Unfortunately nothing.

Please note: There isn’t any electric blankets or Coffee Machine as stated. A little bit more light in the way of lamps or ceilings lights in the apartment would be good, both in the bathroom and in the lounge/ kitchen/dining.

The apartment was very central to everything in town, lots of restaurants within walking distance, supermarket and a great view of the lake from our apartment. We had the lake view apartment I asked for extra pillows and had them delivered no problems within a short time, all communication was done via WhatsApp and the response and helpfulness of the person responding was great. We had a great New Year’s Eve in Riva del Garda, I definitely would recommend it.

“Perfect place to stay in Riva del Garda for a family or a couple”
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children

Сorkscrew was missing in the kitchen, I can't believe it's possible in Italy! :-) Eventually, our room didn't have a view over the lake, but the lake itself was just around the corner, so it's not an issue. In the shower, the pipe is too short, which made showering hard for our kid.

The room is clean, quiet and cozy. Semi-second floor nicely separates kids from the parents, so this place is good for a family as well. The location is just perfect in the centrum of the town, next door to many good cafes and bars. Lake itself is around the corner as well as some trekking. Despite the central location, it was very quiet in the apartment, even during crazy Helloween evening we haven't heard almost anything. The kitchen is fully equipped, especially we have enjoyed making steaks from fresh local fish from the supermarket. The parking is just a few minutes away.

We prefer hard mattresses but this one was extremely hard and after 5 nights on it, it was becoming uncomfortable. Wifi is only available if you sit next to the router, it not available everywhere in the apartment.

Perfect location, exactly what we wanted, in the centre of Riva del Garda, in walking distance to a supermarket, a cycle shop and many eateries and pubs. Apartment and parking all as expected.

The microwave oven was lacked to us to warm something like pizza or spaghetti. The garbage collector was slightly far from the apartment.

Perfect location. Very nice and helpful hosts. Small but very clean and pretty apartment with nice view on the lake. Two bathrooms - one on every floor. Good equipped.

The property is in a no car access area, so the parking is kind of far but for me it was not a big issue since I like to walk a lot.

Very close to everything. The host is amazing.

The beds were not comfortable. The cot was sloping up at both ends. The main bed felt like a cardboard box...maybe it was a boxspring instead of a mattress?

Great location. Easy to check in with lock box.

The view is in the yard. All you see from the window is wall. But it doesn’t matter for people come for the rest outside.

Big, fresh and clean appartment. Could be interesting for family with kids 5 years old and more, cause of beds on second floor. Good location close to very good restaraunt, but silent in the room.
